Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 September 2026. These Terms govern use of the Worklance Connect website and its candidate, employer and recruitment-partner workflows.

1. Worklance Connect's role

Worklance Connect provides recruitment sourcing, screening, coordination and related hiring support. Unless expressly stated in a signed agreement, Worklance Connect is not the final employer, does not make the employer's final hiring decision and cannot guarantee selection, interview, offer, joining or continued employment.

2. Candidate fee commitment

Worklance Connect does not charge candidates any registration, placement or processing fee. This commitment also applies where the same wording is shown on the job-application consent checkbox. Anyone asking a candidate to transfer money while claiming to represent Worklance Connect should be reported immediately.

3. User obligations

You must submit accurate information, avoid impersonation or fraudulent documents, use the website only for lawful recruitment-related purposes, and avoid attempts to bypass security, scrape protected personal data, disrupt the service or misuse employer/candidate information.

4. Employer and partner engagements

Commercial terms, replacement terms, payment cycles, candidate ownership rules, confidentiality and service levels for employers or recruitment partners are governed by the applicable proposal, work order, commercial confirmation or signed agreement. Website content does not override a signed commercial document.

5. Third-party employers and links

We may coordinate opportunities for third-party employers. Employer policies, workplace conditions, offer terms and final decisions remain the responsibility of the relevant employer. Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

6. Intellectual property

Website branding, original content, interface elements and Worklance-created materials may not be copied or commercially reused without permission, except where use is permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Worklance Connect is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from third-party employer conduct, inaccurate information supplied by users, external platforms, service interruptions or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Suspension and misuse

We may restrict access, reject submissions or suspend a workflow where fraud, abuse, policy violations, security risks or materially inaccurate information are reasonably suspected.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable mandatory law, courts having jurisdiction in Kolkata, West Bengal will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.
